Sticky Mongolian


Future Farm Meatballs

Pepper Seasoning

½ cup water

⅓ cup brown sugar

¼ cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic grated

2 teaspoons sesame oil

2 Tbsp grated ginger

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

⅛ teaspoon Chilli flakes

1/2 Tsp white pepper

3 Spring Onions

2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds

Serve with noodles


1. Start by turning the oven on to 180C. Put the meatballs in a skillet or on some foil on a tray. Drizzle some sesame oil and season with cracked pepper. Add to the oven for 8-10 mins until browned.

2. Whilst these are cooking add the brown sugar and water together in a bowl and mix. Then add in the soy sauce grated garlic and ginger, hoisin sauce, Chilli flakes and white pepper and mix well.

3. Heat the sauce ingredients in a saucepan over low heat for 5-8 mins until it starts to become sticky, stirring frequently.

4. When the meatballs are cooked add them to a skillet and toss the sauce over the meatballs. 5. Cool your noodles and use some of the sauce to marinate the noodles. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds and ENJOY!!!
